About

A market built on a myth.

In the old story, Mimir guarded a well at the root of the world tree. From it he drank, and from it he knew. Odin came asking for one drink, and Mimir asked for an eye in return. Odin gave it. He left wiser.

Prediction is the same trade in miniature. You give up a small certainty — a coin you might have spent on something else — and in return you take a stake in what is going to happen. If you are right, the world hands you back more than you sacrificed. If you are wrong, you have at least learned what the well already knew.

We built Mimir because the existing prediction markets feel like spreadsheets pretending to be casinos. We wanted something that takes the act of foresight seriously — that treats every question as worth answering, and every answer as a small ritual instead of a click.

"Knowledge is never free. But the price is rarely an eye."— Mimir
